Flooding Halted by Bill
In Cedar Rapids, Iowa a bill has been passed to approve the flood management plan set to spend $67 million on the flood mitigation project. It is located on the east side of the Cedar River. It is critical for the flood management system to be set into place as there are residents and businesses that can be affected by major weather conditions. This will open up more job positions with constructions and other areas of this industry. Overall, besides the multi-million dollars being spent, this is a great economical plan.
